Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: - Porto - Arrive in Porto and board Emerald Radiance. Settle into your suite, meet fellow travelers, and enjoy your first evening aboard as your Douro adventure begins in one of Europe's most colorful waterfront cities.
Day 2: - Cruising the Douro to Pinhão. Spend today relaxing as Emerald Radiance cruises deep into the UNESCO-listed Douro Valley. Terraced vineyards, charming villages, and dramatic hillsides create some of Europe's most breathtaking river scenery. Enjoy an onboard Portuguese pastry demonstration before arriving in picturesque Pinhão.
Day 3: - Pinhão & Quinta do Tedo. Visit the beautiful Quinta do Tedo, one of the Douro Valley's celebrated wine estates, where you'll learn about local winemaking traditions while enjoying tastings overlooking the vineyards. Later, continue sailing toward Vega de Terrón as the scenery becomes even more spectacular.
Day 4: - Salamanca, Spain. Cross briefly into Spain for a guided exploration of magnificent Salamanca. Known as the "Golden City," its sandstone architecture glows in the afternoon light while centuries of history unfold through grand plazas, cathedrals, and one of Europe's oldest universities.
Day 5: - Pocinho & Régua. Cruise back into Portugal through the heart of the Douro Valley, where each bend in the river reveals another postcard-worthy vineyard landscape. Spend the day soaking in the scenery and enjoying life aboard Emerald Radiance.
Day 6: - Régua. Discover the cultural heart of Portugal's wine country with opportunities to visit historic estates, sample regional specialties, and experience the traditions that have shaped the Douro Valley for generations.
Day 7: - Porto. Return to Porto for a final day exploring one of Europe's most captivating cities. Wander colorful streets, admire blue-and-white azulejo tiles, stroll along the Ribeira waterfront, or simply savor one last glass of Port while reflecting on an unforgettable week.
Day 8: - Porto - Disembarkation. Following breakfast, bid farewell to Emerald Radiance and the beautiful Douro Valley as your journey comes to a close.
